A triage was set up by Ventura and Oxnard fire department. Many were injured and some in critical condition as firefighters fear for the worst.

Much destruction was brought to the Inn On The Beach hotel. All residents of this hotel were ordered to evacuate after a rouge wave broke through to windows and reached as far as the second floor.
